Meet our Director

Charlotte is a composer, choir director and music educationalist. Born in London, she gained a scholarship to the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, later studying at the Royal College of Music with Edwin Roxburgh and then with Edward Gregson at Goldsmiths’ College. Charlotte lectured in music education at the University of Cambridge and enjoys a busy schedule of examining for the ABRSM. As a composer, Charlotte’s main interest is writing for voices, and the Şinassi Singers showcase many of Charlotte’s compositions and arrangements. In addition to the Şinassi Singers, Charlotte directs the King’s Lynn Community Choir, who under her dynamic leadership, is enjoying an ever-diverse repertoire, collaborating with local musicians and artists and growing in local reputation.
